“Because they marched”. E’ grazie a loro se sono qui oggi, questo il senso delle parole del Presidente Obama pronuciate per ricordare il reverendo Martin Luther King, a cinquant’anni di distanza da “I have a dream” (ne abbiamo parlato qui e qui)
Durante il suo discorso, Obama sottolinea l’importanza di quelle battaglie, per combattere le quali migliaia di persone hanno sacrificato tanto in nome di un bene superiore: l’uguaglianza.
E’ grazie a loro che l’America è cambiata, al punto da eleggere il primo presidente di colore della sua storia.
